If you’re shopping for a solid all-rounder, the Horizon Pro is the projector to take home. In our review, we said that it “offers all sorts of keen features, from 4K resolution to auto focus,” using a single-chip projector coupled with an LED bulb that’s rated to last the entire life of the projector. Projectors are made for all sorts of niches. Some boast short throw distances for massive screen sizes, others prioritize color reproduction, or long battery life. If you’re into gaming on the biggest canvas possible, the BenQ TK700STi 4K projector is made for you. Not only does it output ultra high-definition footage without breaking a sweat, it also has a 60Hz refresh rate, letting it smoothly keep pace with modern console games. If you’re projector shopping on a tight budget, it’s going to be hard to beat the Xgimi MoGo 2, unless you dive into the morass of weird Chinese dropshipping of questionable quality. We reviewed this one and had some nice things to say about it, including that it “offers plenty of features, including auto focus and robust audio for its size,” as well as praising its built-in Android TV 11 platform. It does require an external battery if you want to use it away from plug-in power, but with the hundred bucks you save here you can pick one up during Prime Day.

We’ll close out with another well-reviewed home projector with extremely sharp 4K support. When we put the Hisense C1 through its paces in our review, we said that it “will show off almost anything you throw at it to best advantage, while its competitors either support fewer HDR options or have issues with one or more of the versions they support.” Using the now-standard three-chip image projector, coupled with a TriChroma laser engine rated at 25,000 hours of use, it reliably outputs bright Dolby Vision-compatible video with minimal artifacting.
