Netflix has slowed down production so dramatically that the flow of new original series is now barely a crawl. The good news is that means there are fewer shows that are terrible, but it also means that the great series have been few and far between. If this is the future of Netflix, then we’re not in favor of this change of direction.
For the month of July, Netflix’s best originals were the final season of Vikings: Valhalla, and the beginning of the end of Cobra Kai. The latter show will have two more batches of episodes in its final season, which will extend into 2025.
