Acura might have a new EV to show us.The company has plans to debut a brand new all-electric Acura model this week during Monterey Car Week. The company says the concept vehicle will be the first built in Ohio on its new dedicated EV platform.Acura describes the vehicle as a “segment-defying” SUV.The company also posted an image of the back of the potential vehicle on Threads.According to MotorTrend, the new vehicle will be underpinned by a new (Honda) EV architecture. While little is known about the car, it’s rumored to be a three-row variant of the MDX.

The existing Honda-Acura EV offerings are based on architecture shared with General Motors, so that its the first to be built using the company’s dedicated EV platform is a big deal.Monterey Car Week runs until Aug. 18.
