Let’s start this out with an absolutely unbeatable deal on one of our favorite pairs of over-ear headphones. We gave the Sony WH-1000XM4s an Editors’ Choice Award in our review, praising their “excellent audio performance with rich bass and detailed highs” and robust, customizable active noise cancellation. These are absolutely on par with Apple’s AirPods Pro at a significantly lower price, especially with a $100 discount during Tech Fest. They’re incredibly comfortable, with soft ear cups and a sturdy headband, and the on-ear controls are easy to get used to.

Unlocked Android phones are on sale as part of Tech Fest, and there are a bunch of models available. One of the most interesting deals is on last year’s Moto G Stylus, which is a deceptively competent budget phone with some unexpected features. In our review, we praised its “large, vibrant screen, and competitive battery life” and compared it favorably to Samsung’s Galaxy S23 Ultra, which retails for over four times as much. With a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor and a screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, things update quickly, scroll smoothly, and work well. It’s not a phone for everyone, but at this price, it’s worth picking one up just to see if you like it.

It’s been three years since the 9th generation iPad hit the market, but we still rate it as the “best tablet for most people,” and give it an Editors’ Choice award in our review. What makes it so good? Apple has been steadily improving the performance of its hardware, and the Apple A13 Bionic CPU is fast and energy-efficient. With double the storage space of the last generation and better cameras, the iPad is a can-do portable that’s great for media streaming, e-book reading, and creativity. With a $130 discount, it becomes an even better deal. We wouldn’t expect these to be on the market much longer at this price, so snap one up while you can.
