Along with the next-gen processors, we can also expect to hear details about the Z890 chipset – the first chipset to power the new boards, designed specifically for the unlocked Core Ultra 200 Arrow Lake-S processors. One major motherboard manufacturer, ASUS, has shared product photos of their 8 next-gen Intel Z890 motherboards. The new motherboards are expected to come with improved DDR5 support, new PCIe GPU and M.2 quick release mechanism (as seen in X870 & X870E boards), WiFi 7, and Thunderbolt 4. The Intel Core Ultra 200 series will come with many new features, including a new socket called LGA 1851.
