Dove Men+Care Hot Toddy Men’s Deodorant Stick is one of three new, limited-edition deo that launched along side the Dove Holiday Treats Collection for Fall 2024. As you know I fell in love with the Dove Men+Care Mint Chocolate Martini Deodorant Stick that launched with this collection and I had high hopes for Hot Toddy and Apple Cider & Bourbon that launched along side this.
And yes, I know this collection was created with men in mind but dude, how can I saw no to gourmand scented deodorant? My pits demanded I buy all three of these!
Dove Men+Care Hot Toddy Men’s Deodorant Stick is an aluminum-free clear gel deodorant that will set you back $6.97. I’m oddly surprised that the Holiday Treats Collection, which was created with women in mind, is an Antiperspirant Deodorant but the men’s version is just a regular old deo stick. I mean, men sweat too right? I didn’t mind so much as I’m not a heavy duty sweater but a mere deo stick isn’t going to cut it if you sweat a lot or you’re working out.
This is supposed to smell like a hot toddy so I was expecting warm, delicious cinnamon and boozy notes. I dunno if I smelled that. It sort of smells like a warm men’s cologne. Out of three fragrances they launched this is by the more masculine one. I didn’t really get anything gourmand from it as I did with the other two scents from the collection. I actually sort of like how men’s deodorant sticks smell but this isn’t one I liked. It smells very boozy and odd to my nose! Sadly, not really a Hot Toddy smell to me! The scent isn’t as strong as the Mint Chocolate Martini and does disappear fairly quickly after application!
All in all, this is prob the one I liked least in this collection and I’d say skip it if you do see it out in the Walmart wild! Dove Men+Care Hot Toddy Men’s Deodorant Stick is available now for those who do want it!
