EOS Peppermint Cashmere Shea Better Holiday Body Lotion is one of three limited-edition Holiday 2024 body lotions that EOS released a short while ago. First off, EOS needs to consider making this permanent and second, they should do an entire collection of items scented like it just like they did with the Vanilla Cashmere Collection! This is lovely stuff and a perfect addition to your Holiday and Winter body routine!

EOS originally launched two Shea Better Body Lotions for the Holiday season early in October which were Sparkling Amber and Whipped Shea & Sugar. Just recently they surprised us with a third body lotion, Peppermint Cashmere. And like most people I lost my mind over this as I’m a massive fan of the original EOS Vanilla Cashmere and I was picturing this would smell like that with a bit of peppermint swirled in. It doesn’t quite capture that fluffy cupcake feel of the original but it is delicious! Peppermint Cashmere is exclusive to Target at the moment and I’m wondering if they have any other surprises in store for us before the Holidays are in full swing like maybe an Ulta exclusive? Or a Walmart one?
According to EOS this has notes of candy cane, vanilla, marshmallow, and sandalwood which gives it both a warm and cool vibe. I wish I could say I smelled all that but I get up straight crushed candy candy. It’s minty, a little sweet, and refreshing. As it dries down on my skin I do smell a very hint of the vanilla the same vanilla DNA found in Vanilla Cashmere but the candy cane note absolutely overpowers it and it’s very much a cool, minty fresh smell! I don’t hate that at all as I do think scents like Tree Hut Peppermint Pearl and Hempz Crushed Peppermint Sugar combine so many notes that overtake the peppermint. Having a delicious true peppermint body lotion is a treat!
The formula is EOS’s typical lightweight creamy lotion that absorbs easily and isn’t overly greasy or sticky. It’s a very light moisturizing body lotion that leaves skin nicely hydrated without being overwhelmingly heavy or overly moisturizing. A good daily body lotion! P.S. I’m going to combine this with EOS Strawberry Dream Shea Better Body Lotion as I think the strawberry and peppermint would be awesome together! EOS seriously needs to start doing body mists!
Am I disappointed? A little. I think Vanilla Cashmere is EOS’s crowning jewel! It’s a beautiful fluffy vanilla and I’d have loved to seen that exact DNA mixed with peppermint but Peppermint Cashmere doesn’t quite capture that magic. But it’s still a lovely candy cane scented lotion with a hint of yummy vanilla!
