Nara Smith and Lucky Blue Smith Were Born to Be Papped

Nara Smith made it as a model, then she made it as an influencer, and now she’s making it as at icon. And you bet she made it from scratch too.

She and her husband, fellow model Lucky Blue Smith were papped last night in New York City, and honestly who cares where they were going—the outfits were perfect. Nara wore a cropped camel-colored cardigan and a black leather micro mini skirt, paired with Christian Louboutin block heels. Lucky Blue wore an all black outfit featuring a pair of charcoal gray slacks, a black t-shirt, a leather jacket, and loafers. Despite it being evening, they both had on black sunglasses, almost as if they knew there’d be bright lights in their faces.

This September marked the couple’s first fashion week since Nara’s big break on social media, so naturally, perhaps in part to counteract all the trad-wife allegations, but also to get back to their fashion roots, the two have been seen everywhere.

The two were papped in matching burgundy leather looks outside the Burberry show this past London Fashion Week. Lucky Blue wore a studded leather trench with a dark turtleneck, slacks and loafers underneath, his signature accessory: a dangling lock of hair brushing his forehead. Nara wore a belted double-breasted burgundy trench with brown trousers, a red clutch, and black flats. She wore her hair slicked back and pinned low at her head.

Before that, they were papped together leaving the Harper’s Bazaar party for New York Fashion Week this year. While it was definitely cocktail attire, they both had a more laid back vibe for this look. Nara wore a gray strapless dress with a very minimal collar necklace, red nails, a small black handbag, and black pointed toe pumps. Lucky Blue wore a white double-breasted blazer, navy blue trousers, and black loafers.
