SpaceX is now selling its Starlink Mini dish in Europe—and it’s cheaper than the US version.Like the US, the smaller dish is available through the Starlink Roam tier, enabling consumers to use the device on the go. On Starlink.com, it’s €399, or about $433. In France, the company is selling the hardware for an even lower €339 ($368). The US version goes for $599.

In addition, SpaceX is charging European subscribers a lower monthly internet fee: €40 for 50GB of data or €59 for unlimited data. In contrast, a US subscriber has to pay $50 for 50GB of data or $150 per month for unlimited data. The price difference will no doubt annoy US consumers. But SpaceX has indicated the disparity is necessary to prevent US customers from overloading the Starlink network in the country.”In high-usage areas like the US, where Starlink Mini places additional demand on the satellite network, we are offering Starlink Mini Kits at a higher price point,” the company wrote on its support page.

In Europe, it looks like the company has enough network capacity to sell the Mini dish at a more affordable rate. Still, the product isn’t available everywhere on the continent. The official Starlink site hasn’t started sales in the UK, Switzerland, and Poland, for example. To receive the lowest price on the Mini dish, consumers have to be based in one of several countries in Latin America, where the dish costs only $200, but requires an $84 monthly fee for internet access. The company has also started selling the dish in Africa.
