Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium Glitter Is The Fragrance the Internet Is Losing Their Mind Over
Marshmallow seems to be the upcoming note of the moment and it’s starting to pop up in every fragrance! Maybe we should blame Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow? I hope this trend continues into Spring 2025 as I love good fluffy fragrance moment.
Speaking of marshmallow the fragrance that’s taking the Internet my storm lately (well, it’s at least taking the fragrance world by storm) is the new Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium Glitter. Everyone loves Black Opium (Except me! It’s alright but not really my fav scent from YSL!) but the thing that really has people up in arms is the marshmallow in this fragrance! This is the DNA of the original Black Opium but with a twist thanks to the sweet, fluffy addition of marshmallow mush accord. The note is apparently going to push Black Opium into a sweeter, yummier realm. Hmmm! Ok! Sign me up! It also contains notes of coffee, vanilla bourbon, and orange flower making it a warm, sweet scent! They almost had me thinking Love, Don’t Be Shy with these notes but coffee will absolutely give this a much darker touch. Of course, it wouldn’t be a YSL Black Opium blend if it didn’t contain patchouli and although, it isn’t mentioned in the notes I’m wondering if we’ll be getting a little of it mixed in! I sure hope not! The notes aren’t the only thing that got a revamp there’s also a new pink glittery bottle this comes housed in!
